The room felt cramped with limited space, and the shower was tiny with no extractor fan. Accessing the hotel involves navigating steep and uneven steps, which can be challenging, especially for families or those with mobility issues. The limited breakfast options for the price, along with no dining availability in the evenings, leaves much to be desired. A lack of mini-fridges in the rooms restricts keeping beverages cold, which would be useful after a hot day.

Set above the city of Nice there are fantastic views. Our room had its own outside area to sit and enjoy. Lots of steps but this gives a lovely space between rooms. Dinner superb. Parking a little difficult but plenty of help from the hotel staff. Definately recommend it to friends.

Quite difficult to get there without a car. Didn't like the toilet and shower rooms there.

Fantastic location on top of the hill overlooking Nice and the seaside. We left the car on the street of the hotel and descended the hill to take a tram, it's the best way to see the city. Our hosts were wonderful and very friendly and informative about parking, transport, things to see etc. The best thing about the room was the amazingly comfortable bed, I must have gotten one of the best night's sleep ever there. We didn't have a room with a view, but the view from the terrace where we had breakfast was breathtaking, so all in all we had a wonderful stay there and would definitely go back if ever in Nice again.
The only thing I found a bit odd was that our bathroom didn't really have a door, it had these saloon-style small doors that flip open. There isn't much privacy. I don't know if this is the case for all rooms, but if this is an issue for you, you should ask in reception.

The views from the hotel are fine. Each morning, I enjoyed breakfast on the terrace, taking in the beautiful scenery. The owner, Gino. The room was clean and had a comfortable bed. One downside was the steep walk required to access public transport, which can be challenging. A mini fridge in the room would have been really useful for keeping drinks cool, especially after a day of exploring. Given the limited dining options in the area, having a refrigerator could enhance the experience. Despite this, the overall ambiance and service were great.

It was just a nice choice for a quick layover in Nice with value for price. Breakfast next to the bougainvillea was a great way to start the day. Consider taking the 84 bus nearby for easy transport.

The spacious room had a amazing city view, and breakfasts on the terrace added a special touch to our mornings. The kids really enjoyed the nearby parks to play.
My wife says that a mini fridge would have improved our stay.

Small family operated hotel on the mountaine with impressive view on the city and the sea. Excellent staff, ready to help you at any time and you don't need to go to tourist office to get information about the area! No problems with late check-in. The bedroom was stylish and immaculate, and had a small private terrace (room #4 or 5).
1) It's better to be there with your car, because the hotel located in 12 minues drive distance from Promenade des Anglais and the hotel doesnt have a private car park for guests. You have to park somewhere on the street or you can park for money. 2) The busses stop operating in 7:30 p.m. 3) Climb takes about 20 minutes 4) No air-conditioner 5) Very thin walls. We lived outside in the room #5 (the room for 4 people with 3 beds), the wall in the bedroom were also the walls of the restaurant, so its became noisy at 6!!! You can hear everything. 6) Bathroom didn't really have a door, it had these saloon-style small doors that flip open. There isn't much privacy.

fine views combined with easy access to nice's attractions
I had a fantastic stay with a gorgeous view from my balcony, and exploring nearby attractions was easy, with Fort Mont-Alban just over a kilometer away and the bustling old town easily accessible via the bus stop right outside the hotel.

Had a lovely stay with a stunning view from our balcony and super comfy beds! We enjoyed the sun terrace every afternoon and the cozy garden area was perfect for relaxing. The room was a bit noisy in the mornings, but honestly, it didn’t really bother us that much. Just make sure to enjoy the breakfast special!
